Skin is characterized by factors such as its smoothness, elasticity and by how well circulated it is.
- Healthy skin appears radiant and smooth as silk.
- Skin types include normal, dry, oily and mature skin.
- Many people have combination skin; displaying different skin types in different areas.
Climate especially, can cause skin to change in order to protect itself; heat and cold, high or low moisture content in the atmosphere and UV radiation cause the skin’s natural sebum production to vary.
Skin care products and their ingredients, their previous effects on skin, as well as internal factors such as
- hormonal changes,
- general health
- and preferred diet also play a large role in skin type variations.
Every skin is different and you have to select the correct skin care products and treatment routines to make the most of your skin; protecting it and retaining all its beauty and functionality.
The knowledge about your individual skin properties will help you choose the best skin care products for you.
Our recommendation: Identify your skin type; use the skin care products specific to your skin’s individual requirements and apply these products as suggested.
