100% natural, hand-made Castile Soap bars made with the classic 16’th century cold-curing-process.
How do we make our soap ?
Firstly we think about what kind of soap it is we would like to create.
The possibilities are endless and only limited by imagination
We select and develop synergistic combinations of selected herbs, fruits, nuts, earth, algae, etc. & oils and saponify our customized creationz with NAOH.
Other therapeutic and pampering ingredients, like kelp, oatmeal and Essential oils are then added at specific temperatures to ensure their beneficial properties are retained.
Once we have hand-crafted our soap bars with our trademark BE HAPPY marmorier techniques, we then allow them to cure naturally; this process is time consuming and varies from soap to soap (between 4 -8 weeks).
What does saponify mean – and what is NAOH ?
NAOH is Sodium Hydroxide. In its raw-form it is a basic powder or lye.

Saponification is the process of turning an oil or fat into a soap.
Each oil has its own uniquely characteristic saponification value and this why everyONE of our soap bars has its own mathematical equations.
Once the chemical process of saponification is complete there is no NAOH left in the soap.
Saponifaction is not herbal hokus pokus but rather a science and it is as old as the birth of mathematics and astronomy.

What is the B/B Date, our terms & conditions in the small print
– when do our soaps go off ?
Todays archeologists are able to find soap bars from the roman antiquity – intact and they are still soapy. Why is that ?
Soap is another word for a base, specifically a base made up of saponified oils or fats that can be used to wash. This basic nature of the bar protects the other natural ingredients in a sort of soap-time-bubble which means anything below the surface of the soap will be as it was when it was made until you add water.
In many ways soap is like cheese in this regard; if the top layer has become damaged, simply cut it off and what you are left with is completely damage-free.

How good are our soaps ?
In-depth international research has confirmed the beneficial effects of vegetable oils, herbs, fruits, etc. on the skin and hair – for many hundreds of years our ancestors washed this way, no matter where you are from
We chose to not use animal products other than goats milk, honey and beeswax – you will not find any beef tallow, whale fats or anything of the sort in our products.
Another added benefit of our soap bars is, that we always super-X our soaps; this means that we add an eXtra amount of an especially mild, nurturing & pampering oil (we predominantly use valuable Sweet Almond Oil or Macadamia Nut Oil) which ensures they are of the highest international soap-grading quality & it also makes our soaps among the most supple and moisturizing soaps available.
What are the different soap-types that we offer ?
We offer many many different soaps and you will be spoiled for choice – that was always our idea.
A bigger choice is more fun
